Adam Bloomston grew up in Birmingham, AL and graduated from The University of Alabama. While in college he owned his first business, a screen-printing business and after college he went to work for his father’s business, International Children’s
Wear. While there, he learned about business operations, and the financial aspects of operating a business. He moved on to become a regional sales manager for DuckHead Apparel, and was the youngest regional sales manager within the company. He decided he wanted to start his own business, and launched Boundless Bus, a successful and well-known transportation company in the Atlanta area. His goal was to provide a luxury bus company, which did not exist in the marketplace at that time. He also built and sold the Peachtree Social Club before he landed in the credit card business. In mid-2004, Adam began several conversations with two college friends regarding the processing industry, and starting their own company.

Payscape Advisors was founded in 2004 and despite a turbulent economy and the ever-changing nature of the payment services industry, Payscape Advisors has steadily grown from a business run out of a home office, to one of the foremost financial technology companies in the country. Adam has been instrumental in establishing Payscape Advisors as an Inc. 500/5000 Fastest Growing Private Company for three consecutive years, an Atlanta Business Chronicle Pacesetter for four consecutive years, a Best Places to Work recipient in 2011, a Bulldog 100 fastest growing company for three consecutive years, and most recently, a Top Workplace by the Atlanta Journal Constitution. He was honored in 2011 with the CFO of the Year Award, presented by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. With gross revenue of $40 million, Payscape Advisors will process $1.2 billion in credit card transactions this year.

Adam has led all financial decisions regarding strategy and operations growing the company to over 125 employees and 10 offices throughout the southeast His oversight includes the fiscal responsibilities of month end budget balancing, Payroll, Expense Tracking, Projections, all tax obligations, and P&L / Balance sheet liability for 7 different companies (LLC’s) owned by Payscape. He also completed two business acquisitions of two different software companies that will help battle the industry headwinds of margin compression as competition rises.

You can also find Adam with a shovel in his hand, helping the Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper Organization protect, clean and rebuild their waterways. He has also been a member of various social groups within the community, such as, the Benedicts and the Diplomats. Adam is an active member in the Wildwood Neighborhood Association, and he regularly attends
meetings for The Midtown Alliance, Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, The Buckhead Alliance, and the UGA Terry College of Business quarterly meetings.
